My Trip to the Botanical Gardens

Published by Cuddlebuggs under Indoor Fun

Organically Grown T-ShirtI had an appointment this morning to meet with Danielle Bryson of Danielle Bryson Photography at the Botanical Garden’s this morning. I happen to get there a tad bit early, so I thought I would look around the gift shop. This was my first time in the shop. I never seem to have the time to go in when I am with Katherine and Ansley. So today I took a few moments to walk around and browse. There were a lot of nice things there… But the one this that seemed to catch my attention was this little onesie that was hanging on th wall… I love stuff like this! I just thought it was the cutiest thing in the world…I even laughed when I saw it!

Newborn Care Specialist….There is help out there for new parents!

Published by Cuddlebuggs under A Nanny's World

So you’ve brought home your bundle of joy and found out that the two days you’ve spent in the hospital getting coached has in no way prepared you for the monumental task of integrating this new little being into your everyday life. How do you even begin to set schedules, sleep, eat or take care of household tasks? You frantically search your mind trying to remember exactly what was said about umbilical cord care, diaper changing and feeding positions. If only there was someone who was dedicated to assisting with newborn care. That would make your transition a whole lot easier.

Luckily there is someone who has accumulated the knowhow, experience and has a joyful love of taking care of your newborn. This magical (ok maybe not magical, but you’ll sure feel like they are) person is a Newborn Specialist.

Newborn Specialists on staff here at Cuddlebuggs are extremely qualified. They have taken courses in Infant Care (including Infant CPR and Infant Massage), Lactation, Basic Post Natal Care. They have also been trained in recognizing the signs of Post Partum Depression. Rest assured that our Newborn Specialists are also safe and trustworthy. We take yours and your family’s safety very seriously and conduct background and reference checks on each person seeking to work with us.

We are proud to have Newborn Specialists that also love what they do. Not only do our Newborn Specialists care for your baby, but they will also make your job easier by assisting with scheduling, laundry needs as related to your newborn. This alone will help you recuperate (and your family as well) much quicker as you will be able to take the time you need to get back on your feet. Our Newborn Specialists are available when you need them, whether it’s for a couple hours during the day, or taking the night shift, so that at least you can sleep through the night.

The Staff at Cuddlebuggs congratulates you on your new arrival! Our goal is to ensure that this wonderful stage of your life remains joyful and as smooth as possible. Welcome to parenthood!

What’s in your diaper bag?

Published by Cuddlebuggs under A Nanny's World

I asked myself this exact question as I packed A’s bag today.  What is in her bag?  What do we need?  I went through the house looking for things I though we might need while we were out.  Things for her, things for K and things for me.  By the time we were ready to go, you’d think we were moving in somewhere.  The bag was filled to the rim with things I thought we might NEED!  Well guess what?  Out of the 20 things I put into the bag earlier this afternoon, we only use about five of them.  A bottle of water and a packet of formula, a bottle and a pacy for A, snack for K and and my wristlet.  THAT WAS IT!   I am definitely going to have to learn to pack light from here on out.

LOL…..another lesson learned in the life of a nanny!

Until next time…

Natalie… or Miss Nat as K calls me!

A little about me!!

Published by Cuddlebuggs under A Nanny's World

So, what can I tell you that you don’t already know about me…hmmm!  Nothing!  I’m a young African American female who lives and breathes children.  My life is all about the kids.  I guess that is why I am a full-time nanny and a small business owner who helps families in the Midtown area find great nannies and baby nurses of there own…..
